The training continues...

Matthew:
"So took my newly serviced and shiny bike to meet at 7 am on Saturday. Someone (me) had the bright idea to go early to avoid the heat just as the weather cooled.  Cycled around Broadchalke, Bowerchalke and Sixpenny Handley.  The Chalk valley has some very big hills so good training but 47 miles and 3,050ft gained we were ready for Coffee and Cake. The classic end of ride treat."  Why not give them a follow on Instagram? They'd really appreciate the supportDid you know?

Buns of Steel! The team have out been training again!  The fabulous foursome were out training around Salisbury and Switzerland last weekend!- Anne Marie, Simon and Matthew in Salisbury and Jason took a tumble in Switzerland!

Jason- "Survived the Col du Pillon climb from both sides this morning. Although I did have a spectacular crash with full head over wheels flip, on a particularly sharp descending corner. A few scrapes bumps & the helmet took a bash, but worse... I completely wrecked my sandwiches!" Matthew- "Simon is the fourth riding member of the team. Has trained with us over the years and did one of the days of the 500 challenge. He has signed up for the Everest Challenge. Strong cyclist and gives the rest of us something to aspire to. Works at the hospital in the Genetics lab and is the father of Laura who joined us for work experience last week."  Anne Marie- "I'm in a state of shock and will need a permanent drip
with either wine or painkillers…
