Training update 20/07/18

Buns of Steel! The team have out been training again!  The fabulous foursome were out training around Salisbury and Switzerland last weekend!- Anne Marie, Simon and Matthew in Salisbury and Jason took a tumble in Switzerland!

Jason- "Survived the Col du Pillon climb from both sides this morning. Although I did have a spectacular crash with full head over wheels flip, on a particularly sharp descending corner. A few scrapes bumps & the helmet took a bash, but worse... I completely wrecked my sandwiches!"
Matthew- "Simon is the fourth riding member of the team. Has trained with us over the years and did one of the days of the 500 challenge. He has signed up for the Everest Challenge. Strong cyclist and gives the rest of us something to aspire to. Works at the hospital in the Genetics lab and is the father of Laura who joined us for work experience last week."
Anne Marie- "I'm in a state of shock and will need a permanent drip
with either wine or painkillers, I'm not sure I care which!"

Did you know?
Mount Everest stands 29,030 feet high!

Context?
These guys will be cycling
158 times the height of The Leaning Tower of Pisa!
